WEB SITE PICTURES
Calling all parents with digital cameras! We need current pictures of this years team action to post on the web. You can either email, burn to a CD, or use a thumb drive to deliver the photos to Lynn Fischer. This will help to keep the site current.

MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS
All managers are required to carry a medical release form for each player. These must be with the manager at every practice and game in case of an emergency. The form is available on the downloads page.

FIELD MAINTENANCE DAY UPDATE!!!
Thanks to all who participated in field maintenance day today! A very soggy field greeted newcomers, veterans, and loads of kids for a morning filled with mud and hard work. We installed fence cap and windscreen, coach pitch fences and netting, and prepped the coach pitch field for upcoming upgrades. We moved the soft toss poles for safety and cleaned out some clutter. We even fixed the holes left by a giant truck stuck in right field. A great day! Thanks to All.

LITTLE LEAGUE PATCH GOES ON LEFT SLEEVE
Now that you have the uniforms, please arrange for the Little League patches to be placed on the left sleeve. Thanks for your cooperation!

ATTENTION SCOREKEEPERS AND MANAGERS
At the end of each game, the offical scorekeeper needs to fill out a scorecard. These will be used to update the website. Scorecards can be found in the score booth by the pitch count forms. Once they are filled out, place them back in the folder. If these are not filled out, the standings page for each division will not be correct.

TEAMWORK...OPENING DAY FIELD WORK SUCCESS!!!
A BIG thank you from the field maintenance department for the hard work getting the Majors field ready for opening day today...in particular the parents and players of the Majors Dodgers did a great job starting at 6am.

FUND SET UP FOR JOHN TALLEY'S SONS
Since so many people have asked how they could further help the family of John talley during their loss, a trust fund has been established for his two sons. If you are able and would like to help, checks may be made out to Myra B. Talley - The John Talley Memorial Fund. An account is set up at the Wells Fargo Bank, in care of Personal Banker Brian Wason, 2096 N. Bellflower Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90815. If anyone would like to visit the bank in person, it's near Border's at the corner of Bellflower and Stearns in the Los Altos Center. Questions may be directed to Mr. Wason, who may be reached at (562) 596-3322.
John was a Los Angeles County firefighter who passed away after a car accident. He was a manager, coach and board member in our league and his two sons play and have played for LVLL.

Thank you very much for your support now and in the future for the Talley-Balcos family.
More information is available by contacting Keith Polmanteer at kpolmanteer@semprautilities.com or Pat McKean at pmckean@lbcc.edu.
